September Activities at Powerhouse

 

School is back in session, which means fall is right around the corner. We had a busy, fun-filled summer at Powerhouse and we are not slowing down any time soon! In September we are kicking off our Fall Family Workshops series and we hope to see you at one of our special Saturday programs.

SEPTEMBER 14 | SCIENCE STORYTIME | 11:00AM 
Join us in Nature Discovery to listen to a science-themed story. Afterwards, participate in fun, hands-on activity! Storytime is FREE with Powerhouse admission.

SEPTEMBER 20 | FALL MEMBER EVENT | 5:30PM-7:30PM 
Celebrate the Fall Equinox at a special members-only event. Learn more about the changing of the seasons, make autumn-themed activities, and see a special planetarium show. Come hungry, snacks, refreshments, and pie will be provided. This event is free for Powerhouse members, but requires an RSVP. CLICK HERE to register.

SEPTEMBER 21 | TOT PLANETARIUM | 11:00AM 
A family-friendly planetarium show geared for young explorers that covers the basics of space travel and a view of the night’s sky. Tot Planetarium is recommended for space explorers up to age 6. Seating is limited; please arrive early to claim your pass.

SEPTEMBER 28 |CREATE & TAKE: FALL LEAF CROWNS | 10:00AM-11:30AM
Welcome the change in the season by making a fall leaf crown. Learn about the science of leaves changing colors and enjoy the Nature Walk on the Powerhouse grounds.
